Career-changed dogs: These dogs began training for assistance or therapy work but were redirected to pet homes when that path wasn’t the right fit.
Carefully matched: We work to find the right home for each dog so both the dog and family can thrive.
Adoption Process
Step 1: Apply
Complete a short application so we can learn about your home, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a dog.
Step 2: Matching Process
If a good fit is possible, we’ll reach out to talk more and begin matching you with a dog based on personality, needs, and home environment.
Step 3: Meet & Finalize Adoption
Once matched, you’ll complete an adoption agreement and receive support for transitioning your new dog home.
Waitlist Option
You are welcome to apply even when no dogs are currently available. We will keep your application on file and contact you when a suitable dog becomes available.
Adoption Fee
The adoption fee is $600 per dog, which helps support the dog’s training, care, evaluation, and preparation while in our program.

Our sweet Bubbles is ready for her next adventure! This 11-month-old Mini American Shepherd mix is looking for a loving forever home after we made the difficult decision that a service dog career was not the right fit for her. Bubbles is simply too social—she wants to say hello to everyone she meets! She's an energetic, affectionate girl who would absolutely thrive in an active home and would likely excel at dog sports like agility or Fast CAT. She'll stay under 35 pounds, loves to wrestle with playful dog friends, and would do best with children over 5 who can keep up with her fun-loving personality.

Bubbles is spayed, up to date on vaccines and deworming, and her adoption fee is $600. She has a sensitive tummy that is doing well on Fromm Sensitive Skin & Stomach Hydrolyzed Protein food and is continuing to make great progress with potty training. She can live with cats using slow introductions and management. We adore this little girl and can't wait to see her find the family she deserves!
