Support Our Assistance Dogs In Training
These donations will help provide supplies for the care and training of the assistance dogs in training in our Lana’s Legacy program. We train rescue dogs into assistance animals and match them with people with psychiatric and intellectual/developmental disabilities

These donations will help provide free pet food to those in need. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pet.
Service Dog Sponsorship
Sponsor a Service Dog In Training
Sponsor a service dog in training! Sponsorship levels range from $700 to cover adoption, $1,000 for adoption and basic supplies, and $1,500 for adoption plus puppy vet visits, all the way up to $3,000 to cover a quarter of a family’s cost, $6,000 for half, or $12,000 to fully gift a dog to a family in need. Every sponsor will be recognized with a custom patch on the dog’s vest for the duration of training, and sponsors at the $6,000 and $12,000 levels will also have the meaningful opportunity to name the puppy. It’s a lasting way to celebrate a life while changing another.

Donate In Someone’s Honor
Honor someone special by making a donation in their memory or dedication. An honor or dedication donation is a meaningful way to celebrate the life, legacy, or impact of someone you love while creating real change in their name. This can be in memory of a person, in celebration of someone still living, or in honor of a beloved pet or animal who meant the world to you. Your gift becomes a living tribute through the work of an assistance dog.
Donate a Vehicle
Turn You Vehicle Into Life Changing Support - Free Pickup, No Hassle, No Cost to You
Donating your unused or junk vehicle is simple and completely free. Our partner, CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services), handles everything, from pick-up and towing to sale, at no cost to you. They accept most vehicles, running or not, as long as they’re towable and in one piece. You avoid the hassle of selling or repairing it, and the proceeds go directly to support our mission.
Employee Giving and Matching Programs
Some Employers Double Your Impact
Many companies offer employee giving and matching gift programs that can significantly increase the impact of your donation. Through these programs, employers may match charitable contributions dollar for dollar—or even double or triple them—making your support go even further at no additional cost to you. Some companies also provide payroll deduction options or volunteer grant programs that donate funds based on employee volunteer hours. To find out if your workplace participates, we encourage you to contact your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Human Resources department and ask about matching gifts or employee giving opportunities.

IRA Donations
Turn Your Required Distribution into Meaningful Impact
If you are age 70½ or older, you may be eligible to make a tax-advantaged gift directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). An IRA charitable rollover allows you to transfer funds directly from your IRA to a qualified nonprofit without the distribution being counted as taxable income, which may help reduce your overall tax burden. For individuals age 73 and older who are required to take Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), a QCD can also count toward satisfying that requirement.
To initiate an IRA gift, contact your IRA custodian and request a direct distribution to our organization.

Don’t Let Them Go To Waste
Do you have unused or partially used gift cards sitting in a drawer? You can turn them into meaningful impact by mailing them to us.
We gladly accept unused gift cards which we can trade for cash to help cover everyday program expenses, supplies, and care for our service and therapy dogs.
Simply place your gift card (with the remaining balance noted, if possible) in an envelope and mail it to: 5504 W State St., Milwaukee, WI 53208.
Your small, unused balances can add up to make a big difference for the individuals and families we serve.
Form a Giving Circle
Come Together to Create Lasting Impact
A giving circle is a way for a group of people to pool their funds and make one larger collective donation. Friends, family, or coworkers can each contribute an amount they choose, and together create a meaningful gift that supports training, veterinary care, and program needs for our service and therapy dogs.
