Lana is the heart behind our organization and especially our Lana’s Legacy Assistance Dogs Program.

She was adopted from a shelter in 2017 and became Lauren’s first service dog and made an incredible difference in her life.

After 8 years of working as a service dog, Lana is now happily retired and has enjoyed her retirement hobby - becoming a certified therapy dog.

She has been such an important part of Lauren’s life and the inspiration behind our mission to help others experience the same kind of bond and support. Lana’s story is a reminder of just how special rescue dogs can be, and how animals can make such a difference in peoples’ lives.
